birthday quilt

I'm not really the mushy, sentimental kinda girl. I don't have a lot of "keepsakes" and I don't hold on to a lot of things. But for my birthday this year, my momma did something pretty cool.

She took some of my old t-shirts and fabric squares from some of my favorite dresses (yes, i used to wear dresses and yes, i did like them!) and made a quilt for me.

She found some pictures of me in these t-shirts and dresses, had them put onto fabric, and then stitched them into the quilt to provide memories of each event.

She had the quilt inscribed with the date and our names so generations to come can look on it and see my life laid out before them.

Thank you Mom!
