thats really the way i want to live my life. theres something quite peaceful about a simple and authentic lifestyle.
last night i participated in a simple and authentic worship experience. when i say simple i mean genuine and pure. not performance driven, God driven. the band fairly unheard of, i would imagine, showed up in a tiny baptist church on the other side of town. they brought with them not a show but time spent in the presence of Him.
the band not concerned with the anything other than the worship being offered up. each member of the band wasn't paying attention to the audience. God driven worship. absolutely overwhelming and incredible.
simple and authentic. striving daily to reach that point.
